The machine in question was designed to perform grease dosing on a pulley, using a robot to position the piece and dose a predetermined amount of grease.
The actual amount of grease delivered is verified by means of a scale placed under the pulley, providing accurate feedback at the end of the greasing cycle; grease dosing is managed by a delivery system with a geared electric pump with a brushless motor.
The complete procedure requires that the component is positioned in its specific housing.
Subsequently, the operator starts the dispensing cycle, and the robot performs movement in accordance with the preset path.
When filling is complete, a multi-coloured lamp, positioned in front of the operator, signals the outcome of the operation.
